The Ontario Museum of History & Art is holding its first Meet and Zine on Saturday, May 21, 2016 from Noon to 4 PM. Zines (pronounced ‘zeens’) are small self-published magazines made in limited numbers by one person or a few individuals. They combine language, visual art, and ideas, to create a form of expression found in a small package. Zines are sold, traded, and collected and come in a variety shapes and topics such as fictional stories and personal essays, political commentary, poetry, comics, how-to instruction manuals, musings and much more. Come and meet other Zinesters, participate in workshops, purchase one-of-a-kind products from Do-It-Yourself (DIY) vendors and enjoy live music and art, at the Ontario Museum of History & Art, Meet and Zine.
