The annual tree lighting event at Ontario Town Square is scheduled for Friday, December 6, 2019 at 6 pm. The community is invited to attend the ceremonial countdown to light the tree and officially welcome the holiday season. Food vendors, local dance groups, and the arrival of Santa are planned for the event. Bring your lawn chairs and blankets to enjoy a free family movie night under the stars with your neighbors, friends and family. Prancer will be showing, a classic holiday favorite.
NEW for 2019 is the relocation of the 5K Reindeer Run to Euclid Avenue. Starting at 7 am on Saturday, December 14th, everyone is invited to a pancake breakfast by the Kiwanis Club. Not only the participants, but those that cheer them on can enjoy great food and excitement at the start of the race. Directly following, the annual Christmas on Euclid craft fair and festival takes place from 10 am to 5 pm at Ontario Town Square.
The Inaugural Soap Box Derby will race down Euclid Avenue between “G” Street and “E” Street with the race starting at 11 am. This is the first Holiday Rally Race and we look forward to welcoming visitors to our region to cheer on their favorite soap box and all the Christmas on Euclid activities.
The annual Menorah Procession will return to the Ontario region on Sunday, December 29 from 6 pm to 8 pm. Join us for food and beverage and then the car procession carrying the lite menorahs will begin. The event is intended to promote the concept of carrying light in the darkness.
These fun-filled family experiences brought to you by the Ontario Town Square will also include ice skating, a zip-line, horse drawn carriage rides, snow play and of course a visit with Santa. For more information click here or view the event program.
