The Ontario Plan 2050
The Ontario Plan provides a long-term vision for the future growth and development of the City.
The Downtown District Plan provides the framework to foster a viable, livable, sustainable, and healthy downtown. By identifying and responding to revitalization fundamentals, such as land use, the plan seeks to create a placed-based, people-focused commercial and cultural center for the downtown. Such a place that has thriving local economy which supports our businesses, is rich in character, and features inviting public spaces that make residents, visitors, and businesses feel a strong sense of connection and is where they want to be.
The Downtown District Plan Webinar was held on July 30, 2020. The recorded webinar can be viewed below.
